All-Natural Skincare Revealed
We officially have 4 weeks left of summer. And I am trying so hard to keep my Hawaii tan game going strong!
PS: In case you missed it on social, I went on the most amazing babymoon trip this past week. I am working on a post where I will reveal all of my favorite Maui secrets (from secluded beaches to yummy food and more), so stay tuned.
You’ll notice that I don’t usually talk beauty on the blog, but I have been using the OSEA skincare line and am truly in love. Everything from OSEA is naturally-sourced, vegan, gluten-free and biodegradable.
As an expecting-mommy-to-be, I am even more conscious of the ingredients that go into my body. You’ll find an extensive list here of everything that’s not in OSEA products (including benzoyl peroxide, formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, fragrances and more).
I know that my ingredient-conscious food lovers will probably feel the same way about their skincare regimen, so I couldn’t help but share.
Step 1: The Skincare Essentials
My current regimen consists of the three products below. I’ve included a widget that will take you directly to the OSEA Malibu website if you are interested in finding out more.
From left to right: Ocean Cleansing Mudd, Blemish Balm, and Essential Corrective Complex.
These products are ideal for oily, combo skin or acne skincare in general. They leave my face feeling smooth, fresh and revitalized. And as an added bonus, the frosted glass bottles give the line an added touch of luxury.
I recommend starting with the Oily & Combo Skin Starter Set, which is the fourth item in the widget. This is a comprehensive, daily skin care regimen for oily, acneic skin. It purifies and refreshes, heals breakouts, and balances oil production. It’s a great way to try multiple products and see results. Supply lasts approximately 4 weeks.
Step 2: Summer Skincare
I added the two products below while traveling and I can’t recommend them highly enough!
The Sea Minerals Mist promotes skin’s natural ability to absorb moisture and oxygenate. This makes it great for healing sun-damaged skin and reducing redness. You can use it to seal makeup against humidity, and even put it in the fridge for refreshing after-sun relief.
The Atmosphere Protection Cream is a daily moisturizer that protects skin from dehydration and environmental damage. It’s super lightweight and leaves your face with a matte, silky finish, so it doubles as a makeup primer, too.
Again, feel free to follow the links in the widget below to find out more!
I hope you’ve enjoyed a little taste of all-natural living (outside of the food world). If you want to see more posts like this, please leave me some love in the comments below.
