Veetee Dine In Rice
Heat it and eat it! It’s that simple.
I come from a Filipino-Hawaiian family, so I’m all about traditional sticky rice made in a rice cooker. But as a new mom, I need easy, no-fuss dinners (especially now that I’m headed back to work).
Rice makes the perfect side dish for most entrees, and it’s even great utilized in recipes like chili and tacos! It’s my number one staple for weekly meal prep, but it just takes so darn long to cook!
I needed something that was fast and simple, with little cleanup involved. So I tried Veetee Dine In Rice, and it was delicious!
Most microwaveable rice brands lack flavor and fluff, and you usually end up with a hard pile of rice. As much as I’m interested in convenience, I won’t sacrifice quality and taste.
Veetee sent me two different varieties, but they have over 10 to choose from. We tried Thai Jasmine Rice and Wholegrain Brown Rice and Quinoa.
The Thai Jasmine Rice was exactly what I look for in white rice. It was fluffy, just the right amount of sticky, and mild in flavor. It was perfect for my Honey-Lime Chicken Pineapple Boats and would be great in sushi, as well!
The Wholegrain Brown Rice and Quinoa was my husband’s favorite. It has a subtle crunchy texture and mild flavor. It’s a great way to introduce quinoa into your diet, which is a great source of protein for vegetarians. It would be good pair with lentils and carrots, or as a side dish for most proteins.
Veetee Dine In Rice contains no artificial flavoring, colors or preservatives. You simply heat it in the microwave or stir-fry in a wok for 2 minutes with a little bit of oil!
You can purchase all of their varieties on Amazon, or use the Veetee store locator here to find your nearest wholesaler. I would recommend ordering a 6-pack for $13, which will give you over 12 servings of rice for just about $1/serving.
